Cash of Rs 1 Cr seized from vehicle following Meghalaya CM’s convoy in poll-bound Arunachal
A whooping cash of Rs 1 crore was seized from a vehicle following the convoy of Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K Sangma at Longding in poll bound Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday.
Lok Sabha and Assembly elections will be held simultaneously on April 19.
The cash was seized from a vehicle of a Badri Rai company official that was following the CM’s convoy, which was on the way to Longding for campaigning for NPP candidates.
Arunachal Pradesh police was quoted by media reports stating that the fortuner car (AS 01 ET 5252) was officially not part of the convoy but it was following the convoy.
