CEGR recognizes NIT Meghalaya as the best institute in NE

The Centre for Education, Growth and Research, India (CEGR) has recognized NIT Meghalaya as the best institute in North-East, 2021. 

The CEGR being the leading and one of premier think tank in India, has also honored the Director of NIT Meghalaya, Prof BB Biswal as Visionary Leader of the Year, 2021.

Both the awards were given away during the 15^th Rashtriya Shiksha Gaurav Purushkar Ceremony, 2021 which was held on Tuesday in New Delhi, through virtual mode. 

The course curriculum at NIT Meghalaya is designed in a way to make students industry-ready with both classroom and practical knowledge hence, the institute has secured best position in terms of academics.

Moreover, it is Director, Prof BB Biswal’s dynamic leadership, positive attitude, his ambition to build the institute as a centre of excellence in education and research has brought the institute a commendable title among the engineering institutes across the country.
