Centre sanctions Rs 43 Cr for strengthening of NH-40E for Dawki-Amlarem-Jowai

The Centre has sanctioned Rs 43.70 crore for strengthening 14.900 kms of NH 40E (Now NH 206) for Dawki-Amlarem-Jowai.

Informing this on Tuesday, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma said, “Rs 43.70 Crores sanctioned for strengthening of 14.900 kms of NH 40E(Now NH 206) for Dawki-Amlarem-Jowai by @MORTHIndia. Thank @PMOIndia and @nitin_gadkari ji.”

Home Minister Lahkmen Rymbui, who is also representing the Amlarem constituency, said this will greatly improve the socio economic development of the people of the area & boasts the tourism sector.
