Chief Justice inaugurates two day orientation program on Forest and Wildlife Conservation Laws in Meghalaya
The Meghalaya State Judicial Academy in collaboration with WWF-India organised a two day orientation programme on Forest and Wildlife Conservation Laws for the Judicial Officers and officers of the Forest Department of Meghalaya at the Conference Hall of High Court of Meghalaya, Shillong.
Justice S. Vaidyanathan, Chief Justice, High Court of Meghalaya today inaugurated the programme in the presence of R. S Gill, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Government of Meghalaya, Justice Hamarsan Sing Thangkhiew, Judge, High Court of Meghalaya and Justice Madan B. Lokur, Judge, Supreme Court of Fiji and former Judge of Supreme Court of India addressed the programme virtually.
