Chutwakhu Jowai to celebrate 100 glorious years
The Dorbar Chnong Chutwakhu, Jowai, has announced the grand celebration of its Centenary Jubilee, marking 100 years of community spirit, culture, and progress. The event promises to be a significant milestone for the residents of Chutwakhu, Jowai.
The celebration will take place on 10 January at Jrisalein Playground, Chutwakhu Jowai, beginning at 11:30 am. The Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad K. Sangma, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
PW Lyngdoh, Headman of Dorbar Shnong Chutwakhu Jowai, expressed his delight, stating, “Dorbar Chnong Chutwakhu, Jowai, is delighted to announce the Centenary Jubilee Celebration, commemorating 100 glorious years of community spirit and progress. This milestone event marks a century of unity, culture, and tradition that has shaped the essence of Chutwakhu. We extend this heartfelt invitation to all our esteemed residents, especially those who are currently residing outside the village for their studies or work. This celebration is a homecoming, an opportunity to reconnect with your roots, and to share in the pride and joy of our collective achievements.”
The event will also feature esteemed Guests of Honour, including Sñiawbhalang Dhar, Deputy Chief Minister, and Wailadmiki Shylla, Chairman of MUDA.
