He said the coalition partners had some concerns about the boundary issue while informing: “We have accordingly given them clarification on the border issue and we have always clarified to them even at an unofficial level also.”
The chief minister however said none of the coalition partners had suggested the need to review the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Meghalaya and Assam for resolving the 6 of the 12 areas of difference.

“Nobody has said that they wanted to revisit the MoU,” he added.
Sangma further informed that the meeting also discussed the issue related to the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). “While we were in the meeting, the letter from the Union Education Minister also came in so it was good timing for us in one way. The Union Education Minister had specifically mentioned that the other colleges can continue with their admission on the basis of how they used to do before which means CUET will not have to be taken,” he said.
Meanwhile, the meeting also discussed and addressed other issues that were raised by the coalition partners.
