CM meets union home minister Amit Shah

SHILLONG: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Tuesday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss on issue related to the Citizenship Amendment Bill. 

Sangma has asserted the need to have proper consultation with stakeholders on the CAB. He said that Amit Shah has agreed to meet and discuss the matter to take the views of different stakeholders and has asked him to do the necessary coordination. The chief minister was also accompanied by home minister James K Sangma.
