CM pays rich tribute to (L) Dr Donkupar Roy at Shella

Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma paid rich tribute to former chief minister and former United Democratic Party (UDP) chief (L) Dr Donkupar Roy on his first death anniversary at Shella on Tuesday.

“(L) Dr. Donkupar Roy, former CM & Speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly served the State for over 3 decades. He was a friend of my Father, (L) Sh. P. A Sangma & was revered for his humility & his dedication to our people. Our humble tribute on his 1st death anniversary,” said Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma in his twitter handle.

A Prayer meeting was held at (L) Dr. Donkupar Roy’s residence in Shillong on his first death anniversary.
