Coalition partners reiterate support to MDA Govt: CM

Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Friday said all MDA coalition partners have reiterated their support to the government.

“…all the coalition partners had once again reiterated to me that they will continue their support and that we will complete this term of our government,” Sangma told reporters. He was reacting to reports alleging that the United Democratic Party (UDP) may pull out of the government.

On coalition partners blaming NPP alone on many issues, the CM said, “That’s fine we have no problem. We are working together. I have spoken to our coalition partners. Everybody is on board. Yes, there could be some individuals, who will make their comments and express their concerns, which is fine in democracy it is important to express your concerns.”
