CoMSO condemned BJP and its manifesto
CoMSO strongly condemn the declaration of the BJP through its released Manifesto that if voted to power it will introduce and implement CAB. This act of the BJP is an insult to the indigenous people of North east as a whole and through this manifestation it is amply clear that BJP wants to replace the indigenous people of north east with illegal Bangladeshi.
It is clear that BJP want north east without north east indigenous people and this is totally unacceptable to us. CoMSO is of the opinion that BJP argument that religious minority especially Hindus are being persecuted in Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan on account of their religious affiliation is false and concocted and hence these group of people requires protection in India through grant of citizenship not only is a total lie but an attempt to mislead the citizens of this country. CoMSO, is rather shock and appealed at this claim of the BJP and infact ask the NDA government which is lead by the BJP, if at all there is any such persecution of these minorities in their respective country, then has the Government at anytime raised this issue before the World forum like the UN? Or does the government have any proof that any point of time it had made a formal complaint before any court or tribunal at the international level against Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan for religious persecution?
CoMSO would also like to know, what is the action that the Government have taken to pressurised these three nations to stop religious persecution, if any, and whether any sanctions were imposed against them?
CoMSO, therefore reaffirms its commitment it will not allow any party to introduce CAB and any other alike legislations which seeks to grant citizenship and shelter to the illegal immigrants in our land and will fight tooth and nail to resist such an attempt to dilute our demography, our culture and heritage. We warned the BJP and other parties not to interfere with our way of life and leave us be as we are. If the BJP or any party for that matter, tries to forcefully implement CAB in the State, then be rest assured that the sons of the soil are ready to protect our motherland at any cost.
