Congress will witness repeat of 1972 in 2023 polls: Tynsong
NPP national vice president Prestone Tynsong on Wednesday said history may repeat for the Congress in the 2023 elections.
Speaking to reporters, Tynsong said the Congress needed to further strengthen their foundation from scratch. According to him, they are back to square one.
He said in 1972 the Congress could win only a few seats.
“Now history repeats. They will have to again go back and revisit the year 1972,” he said
The NPP leader said he is glad that the former Congress legislators had listened to him by jumping from a sinking ship and saved themselves from drowning.
