Construction of State Dispensary at Nonglum under consideration: Ampareen

Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh on Wednesday informed that the proposed construction of a State Dispensary at Mawlai Nonglum is under consideration. 

Replying in the Assembly, Lyngdoh said a lot of decisions has been taken after a one time spot inspection was conducted and now technical proceeding will start. 

“Since the land does not belong to the health department, we have sought NOC from the concerned dorbar. Estimate was done and we are reviewing the SOR of PWD and subject to availability of funds, we will pursue the matter with all honesty,” she assured. 

VPP legislator from Mawlai Brightstarwell Marbaniang has requested the government to expedite the process since the dispensary at Nonglum is functioning from a rented place.
