Containment lifted from various houses in Shillong | Here is the list

The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills has removed the containment tag from various houses and apartment in Shillong after no fresh COVID-19 cases were reported.

The areas that have been unsealed are:

Houses of Rajen Singh, Rajesh Singh, Baldip Singh and Kalwinder Kaur at Goraline, Laitumkhrah,

House of Mrs. Santana Jyrwa, Bishnupur near K.O.R. Taxi Stand,

House of Smti M. Kharmawphlang, Riat Laban East, Madan Laban,

House of Smti Sharmila Mawlong, Lawsohtun Block 2,

The first floor of the house of James D. Marbaniang at Jaiaw Lumbatemon,

House of Shri Michel Marwein, Lawsohtun Block-1,

House of Shri P. S. Kharsyntiew (Top Floor), Madan Neng, Madan Laban,

The compound of Smti Wanbet Rapsang, Mawlai Nonglum,

House of Subrata Das, tenant of Biswajit Dutta, Nirala Compound, Lower Lachumiere opposite PCI . 

House of Smti S. Pyngrope, Amjad Ali Road, Laban with effect from 19th October, 2020,

Top floor of the house of Mr. K. Bhattacharjee, Bishnupur Inverneil, near Circuit House, compound of Kong Easter War at Lummawrie, Laitumkhrah,

The Apartment of Mrs. Shibani Paul, tenant of Mr. Ambika Paul, Rilbong near Dew Drop Guest House,

The flat C 3, Sutnga Apartment, Streamlet Road Laban,

Top floor of the house of Mr. Pradip Paul, Rilbong, Near Oxygen Godown,

House of Deepak Sinha, Haripad Sukla Baydya, Bidhan Malakar, Bijoy Devnath, Ganga Ram Jat, Champa Dhar, Pradeep Ghosh, Maloy Dhar and Ionglang Passah at Lower Mawprem,

The house of Ruchilla Marak, Bishnupur Central, Near Municipal Water Tank.

In separate order, the district administration has declared more areas as micro containment after detection of COVID-19 positive cases.

The new micro containment are namely:

House of Shri Biswarup Chakraborty (tenant) in the compound of Smti H. Kharsandy, near Shillong Guest House, Howell Road, Laban,

Flat A-2, Sutnga Apartment, Streamlet Road, Laban,

Flat of tenant Shri A. Chakraborty (second floor) of the building of Smti J. Malngiang, Harisabha, Laban,

House of Shri M. Paudel, Lawsohtun Block 5,

House of  Spahmon Kshiar at Jaiaw Umpohliew,

House of Anita Marwein, Dong Skul, Lower Lumparing,

House of Ms. Easter Mary Synrem, Dong Shilliang, Lower Lumparing. 

Further the district administration has allowed Bashan Footwear at Mission Compound to resume operations.
