Containment lifted in Mawiongrim

East Khasi Hills District Magistrate, Matsiewdor War Nongbri on Thursday has lifted the containment order in Mawiongrim after no new COVID-19 cases were detected.

The containment orders were lifted based on contact tracing status and test reports of high risk contacts from the building of Talas Massar to flower nursery of Block II Mawiongrim and from the building of M.R. Nongrum to H. Marwein and from the house of G. Lyngdoh to the house of S. Marwein of Block IV Mawiongrim.

The containment order for these areas has been lifted with effect from 6^th August, 2020.
