Containment order lifted from various houses in Shillong

The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District in orders issued on 28th  October, 2020 has lifted the containment in various houses after no new COVID-19 cases reported.

The areas that have been removed from containment list are:

House and compound of Smti Prop Nongkhlaw, Lumsohphoh Neng, Upper Lumparing.

The ground floor of the building of Smti J Lyngdoh, Howell Road, Laban.

House of Shri P Kanti Das (tenant) in the compound of Smti S. Sengurta Near St John Primary School, Laban and Smti S. R. Banks, K. S. Road, Laban.

Top floor of the house of Mrs Daphira Synrem, Bishnupur Inverneil, Near Circuit house, Fourth

Fifth Floor of the building of Smti S. L. Ryntathiang, Near Unitarian Church, Madan Laban (Rum).

Flat of Shri Biswajit Das (tenant) in the Top Floor of Narayan Bhavan, Riat Laban.

Apartment (Ground Floor) of Mr. Grikra Marak, Building of Mrs. Beautimon Khongsni, Bishnupur Central.

House of    Smti S Roy, Harisabha, Laban.

House of Anita Marwein, Dongskul, Lower Lumparing. 

Top floor of the house of Mrs Aroma Shullai, New Kench’s  Trace, behind Sankardev College.

In another order, the district administration declared the Apartment (Top Floor) of Mr. Biswajit Ghosh, Building No. 2 of Mrs. Geeta Sikh Dhar, Rilbong Near Beat House as a micro containment areas after the detection of COVID-19 positive cases.
