Containment restriction partially lifted from Panaliar Jowai

The District Magistrate, West Jaintia Hills, Garod LSN Dykes on Wednesday has partially lifted the containment order from Panaliar Locality. Only places with actives cases tag as micro containment until further orders.

This areas which have been sealed include Kynjing Colony and Pamhadem.

The order states that the containment had been partially lifted after reports was received  that the rate of transmission seems to have tapered off.

All economic activities and movement of people only within the locality may resume. However, the entry into and exit of persons from Kynjing Colony and Pamhadem  is still prohibited.
