Containment tag lifted from Star Cement

The District Magistrate, East Jaintia Hills District, E Kharmalki on Thursday lifted the containment tag from Star Cement Plant after no new COVID-19 cases detected.

The Health and Family Welfare Department East Jaintia Hills District have reported that after active surveillance testing of 249 Covid- 19 confirmed cases from Star Cement Plant, the result came out and have been tested negative on RTPCR and rapid Antigen testing.

The restriction have been withdrawn from Staff quarter- 650, 250 Driver rest room, School Building and Old mines office of the Star Cement Plant, Lumshnong.
