Convocation at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Shillong held
Convocation Function of 93rd Batch of Computer trainees and 34th Batch Language students of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre was held at Shillong today.
During the program the center distributed 544 Certificates to the meritorious students of Computer and Language trainees. Ramakrishna Mission, Shillong trains about 6000 youths a year in Computer subjects, spread over five sessions. The present Convocation is for trainees of January – March 2022 Session being the 93rd batch of trainees, comprising about 600 youths from different parts of the Northeastern states.
The students who topped the academics were Computer – Beginner Laweibakordor Thongni, Intermediate- Nika Delecta Lyngdoh Nongbsap, Accounting and Tally- Apborlang Sun. Tody Cliff Nongrang was specially applauded for completing several courses and excelling in all of them.
Earlier in his inaugural address, Swami Hitakamanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Shillong, focused on ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumvakam’ which means the whole world is a family. One must imbibe this spirit from the institute. He asked the youth to read Swami Vivekananda and also take benefit of all the facilities of the institute. Brahmachari Vairagyachaitanya, Dy. Centre-In-Charge spoke on the overall performance of the students, who had put of hard efforts also appreciated the contributions made by the teachers.
