Cop injured, vehicle damaged in stone pelting incident at Jaiaw

A police personnel was injured after miscreants pelted stones at the patrolling team at Jaiaw on Saturday night.

The incident took place at around 9pm. As a result, the windshield of a patrolling vehicle bearing registration number ML 05U 8619 was damaged.

Police helmets and gears were also seen lying in the middle of the road. On being informed, police of the Lumdiengjri police station immediately rushed to the place of occurrence.

The injured police personnel was admitted at the Dr H Gordon Robert hospital.
