Coronavirus: Bar to remain closed in Meghalaya

In order to prevent the possibility of an outbreak and spread of the COVID-19 (Corona Virus) and as a precautionary measure to safeguard the citizens of the State, Meghalaya excise department has ordered to close all the bars in the State with immediate effect.

The order issued by Commissioner of Excise, Meghalaya declared the closure of all IMFL “On” licence (Bar) premises throughout the State of Meghalaya with effect from 1^st August 2020 to 15^th August 2020 (midnight) and until further orders.
