COVID-19 cases in Meghalaya crossed 300 mark
Eight more persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday taking the total number of active cases in the state to 305.Director of Health Services (MI) Dr Aman War informed the eight new cases are 6 persons including 3 BSF from East Khasi Hills and 2 which also include an armed force personnel from Ri Bhoi.
With fresh cases, the total active cases in the state has increased to 305.
These include 267 in East Khasi Hills (201 BSF, 14 armed forces and 52 others), 24 in Ri Bhoi, 8 in West Garo Hills, 2 in East Jaintia Hills, 2 in South Garo Hills, 1 in North Garo Hills and 1 in East Garo Hills.
A total of 47 patients have recovered from the infection so far while 2 died.
