COVID-19: Containment order lifted from Dr Rymbai house & Rani Motors showroom

Based on contact tracing status and test reports of high risk contacts in Demthring Block-I, the District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District in an order issued on Monday has lifted the containment order for the house and compound of Dr. Teiborlang Rymbai in Demthring Block-I.

The District Magistrate has also lifted the containment order for the house and compound of Karuna Dey, Lane No.3 and plot No. 44 R.R. Colony and Rani Motors Showroom, Mawblei.

The order stated, that Rani Motors Showroom may resume operation with effect from 10th August 2020, following strict compliance of all the norms, SOPs and advisories of the Health and Family Welfare Department.
