COVID-19 | Fresh case reported in Meghalaya

Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Saturday informed that another person in Shillong has been tested positive for coronavirus.

The state is now having two active cases.

Sangma’s said the fresh case was reported from the house of the first COVID-19 patient.

“Unfortunately we have another positive case in Shillong. It’s a person working in the same house. As a precaution health department was retesting all the primary contacts and in the process we found this positive case. The person is safe and healthy and showing no symptoms,” Sangma said in his twitter post.
