COVID-19: Muslim compound & 42 more houses made new micro containment in Shillong

The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District on Saturday has declared Muslim Compound and 42 more household as new micro containment in capital city after the detection of many new positive COVID-19 cases.

The new micro containment are namely:
House of Smt. Melinda Syiemlieh at Lumdiengsoh,
House of Smt. Fidoris Lyngdoh at Lumsohphoh,
House of Besi Sol Chalai, Bishnupur Inverniel (Near Ashiyana Guest House),  
Muslim Compound at Lumdiengjri, 
Kharbamon Compound at Lower Mawprem
35 (thirty five ) households from the residence of Jagadish Ray till the residence of Ravinder Ray at Pdengshnong, Golflink.
House of Kynrem Ri Lyngdoh at Riatsamthiah, 
House of Shri Ashok Dutta (tenant) in the compound of Smti Victoria Marbaniang, Laban Masjid road.
House of Shri V. Malakar (tenant) in the compound of Smti T. Hynniewta, Riat Laban East, Madan Laban.

Containment Order Lifted:
Based on the contact tracing status and testing of the high risk contacts and the reports, the District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District has lifted the containment order for the house of Nimmi Chettri, Nepali Compound, Rilbong, building of Dr. (Mrs) B. Kurbah (1^st floor), Lawsohtun Block-4 near CID Quarters, the flat of Shri B.  Deb in the building of Smti A.M. Rynjah at Madan Laban (Shilliang), the apartment of Smti R. Dey in the building of Dr. A. Dey, Riat Laban East, Madan Laban, the building of Smti L. Wann (second floor) Streamlet Road, Laban, all the four buildings within the Additional Secretariat Quarters and the house of Mr. Nashibi Rai till the house of Dharminder Rai, Lower Maxwelton Estate with immediate effect.

However, the house of Nausib Rai at Lower Maxwelton Estate is still retained as a micro-containment area.
