COVID-19 protocols violation: District admin shuts down shop at MUDA

The district administration has issued a closure notice to one of the shops in the MUDA complex at Khyndailad after it was found to have violated the COVID-19 protocols.

“In view of the above, Notice of Closure is hereby served to the establishment and shall remain in force until further orders,” East Khasi Hills district magistrate Matsiewdor War Nongbri said in the notice issued recently.

She said the owner of the shop had blatantly violated the COVID-19 protocols.
