COVID-19: Three more tests positive in Meghalaya
Three more persons have been tested positive for coronavirus while two have recovered on Wednesday. With this, the total number of active cases in the state now stand at 581.
Director of Health Services (MI) Dr Aman War said the new cases include two armed forces personnel in East Khasi Hills and a returnee in Ri Bhoi.
He said of the 581 active cases, 479 are in East Khasi Hills (243 BSF, 202 civilians and 34 returnees), 53 in Ri Bhoi, 15 in East Jaintia Hills, 13 in West Jaintia Hills, 11 in West Garo Hills, 4 in West Khasi Hills, 4 in South West Garo Hills,1 in East Garo Hills and 1 in North Garo Hills.
He further informed that two patients from Shillong have also recovered taking the total of recoveries to 196.
