COVID-19 Vaccination drive launched in West Jaintia Hills

Joining hands with the rest of the country  West Jaintia Hills District today launched the COVID-19 vaccination drive where health workers of Jowai Civil Hospital, were vaccinated in the first phase.

The COVID- 19 vaccination drive was launched by Deputy Commissioner, WJHD Garod. L.S.N Dykes (IAS)  at Jowai Civil Hospital in the presence of District Maternal & Child Health Officer Dr. (Mrs.) M. Syngkon, Medical Superintendent, Jowai District Hospital Dr. (Mrs.) R. Pohrmen, District Medical & Health Officer, Dr. K.C Ajar, and ADC P. K Boro.

Deputy Commissioner as a Chief guest  expresses his gratitude to the health department, the health workers and everyone involved right from various line departments, the headmen as well as the common citizens who have played a role in fighting this pandemic.
