COVID protocols flouted

The police officers of West Jaintia Hills District flouted COVID Protocols by not wearing face masks in a Police Awareness programme on “Crime against Women and Children” at Khliehtyrshi Village held on Friday.

The police officers did not encourage the practice of social distancing in the hall which was quite packed. Will the District Magistrate Jowai dare to penalize the erring police officers for flouting COVID protocols by themselves and allowing others to also flout COVID protocols?
