Critically acclaimed Assamese film ‘Jiya’ set for its television premiere
The Assamese feature film Jiya, directed by Kenny Basumatary and produced by Sarmistha Chakravorty, is all set for its television premiere on Prag News on October 27 at noon. After a successful theatrical run, Jiya is now poised to reach a broader audience through its TV debut.
The film has garnered appreciation for addressing socially relevant themes, particularly the struggles and life of a single mother. Renowned actress Ila Arun commended Jiya for its heartfelt portrayal and urged viewers to support the film.
