DC EJH invites application for coaching for civil service examination

The Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District informed that applications for admission into the All India Services Pre- Examination Training Centre, Shillong are invited from Candidates both male and female, belonging to the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, and OBCs of Meghalaya. Candidates whose parents are Safaiwallas who are eligible to appear at the UPSC Civil Services (Qualifying) Examination 2021 shall be eligible for admission into the Centre.

According to a press communique, the Coaching will be imparted through English Medium. Candidates who are over 21years of age and at least passed the Degree Examination with a minimum of 50 percent average marks in aggregate.

Those who have undergone training, at least once in any of the Pre-Examination Training centre in the Country and who intend to apply for the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination, 2021 or have appeared at least once in the CS Prelims examinations or a fresher will be eligible for consideration for enrolment into the Centre for Coaching for the said Competitive Examination. Preference would be given to candidates who have at least appeared once in the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination or enrolled in any PETC.

Furthermore, the applicants should apply or should have applied to the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) for admission into the CS (Preliminary) Examination 2021 within the time frame fixed by the UPSC. Eligible Candidates can avail hostel facilities and food will be provided by the centre free of cost on first come first serve basis.

The last date for receipt of application in the prescribed form is 7^th March, 2021. Capacity of selected candidates is 100(hundred). Application shall be given in the format as presented in the advertisement. Application Forms can be availed from the O/o AISPETC, Shillong or downloaded from MATI’s website mati.gov.in.

Filled in application forms may be scanned and emailed to [email protected] or send by post or submitted in person at the O/o All India Services Pre-Examination Training Centre Additional Secretariat Building, old MATI (Premises), Shillong-1 from 11 Am to 3 Pm. No request for forms will be entertained after the fixed date.

The Deputy Commissioner also informed that the list of Candidates will be displayed on the office notice board on 10^th March, 2021 and/or intimated through the respective Phone numbers / e-mail as provided in the application Form.The Classes will start from 15^th of March, 2021 and the duration of the course is till 19^th June, 2021 only.
