DC warned against hoarding and overpricing of essential commodities
In order to maintain availability of essential commodities at a normal price in the open market to the public, the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), West Jaintia Hills in an order issued has directed all the open Market Wholesalers and retail traders of essential commodities under the District, not to engage and create artificial crisis by way of hoarding or black marketing, not to sell beyond MRP and to refrain from selling expired product to the general public.
The order has been issued in view of the current situation in the State and in connection with the incident at Mukroh.
