Deacon Nongkhlaw passed away due to dengue fever

Deacon Iohteibok Nongkhlaw, CMF breathed his last breath at Excelcare hospital, Guwahati at 1 am on Monday. He was 29 years old and hailed from Mawpat Parish, Shillong.

The Deacon was doing his Dioconate ministry in Diphu diocese at Holy Cross, Langkangbob, Disobai but he was admitted to Diphu Christian hospital on September 20, last due to Dengue fever.

After four days he was shifted to Excelcare hospital at Guwahati for better treatment. However due to severity of the ailments, he could not survive and left for his heavenly abode.

His last rites will be held at 2pm on Tuesday at St Claret Seminary, Umsning where it will be presided over by Most. Rev. Victor Lyngdoh Archbishop of Shillong. There will be a Requiem Mass at 6pm on Monday at St. Claret Seminary, Umsning.
