DLSA to organise car rally on safe driving in EJH

With the aim to give awareness to the people on safe driving habits, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), East Jaintia Hills District in collaboration with the Office of the District Transport Officer, East Jaintia Hills District and the Office of the Superintendent of Police, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat will organize an Awareness Programme and a Car Rally on “Safe Driving” on the 13^th March, 2021.

The Rally will start from Mookhep near Destination Hotel to Byndihati and back to Khliehriat Higher Secondary School, Khliehriat.

As part of the Rally, there will also be an Essay competition for the students of Class IX to XII on the topic “Safe Driving”. Students who are interested may kindly submit their essays to the Office of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Khliehriat on or before the 9^th of March, 2021.

Vehicles for all the participating Schools will be arranged from the Office of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat.
