DM prohibit plying of all vehicle in Jowai

The District Magistrate of West Jaintia Hills has issued an order prohibiting plying of all vehicles in Jowai including those with pass on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 6:00 A.M to 12.00 noon, only Police and Magistrate vehicles will be allowed to ply during this period.

The Residents of different localities in Jowai are directed to not venture into different localities during the time when shops are open but to shop from their own locality.

To prevent vehicles entering Jowai Checkpoints at Myntdu, Riatsasim and 4 Mile are put up.
