Dominic Megam Sangma’s acclaimed film Rapture to be screened in Shillong

Rapture, the highly acclaimed film by award-winning director Dominic Megam Sangma, will be screened in Shillong from November 7 to November 11, 2024. This exclusive event is organized by the Art and Culture Department of the Government of Meghalaya in collaboration with Fraternity Art Cine Entertainment Shillong (FACES).

Screenings will take place at U Soso Tham Auditorium, featuring three daily showtimes: 12:15 PM, 2:40 PM, and 5:15 PM.

Rapture, which has garnered international recognition, was recently released in 150 theatres across France, earning widespread acclaim for its powerful narrative and artistic vision. The film presents a deeply moving exploration of cultural identity and human emotion, set against the breathtaking landscapes of Meghalaya. Now, audiences in Shillong will have the chance to experience this cinematic masterpiece in its homeland.
