DPR for Nongpoh-Umden-Sonapur road in final stage:Tynsong

Deputy Chief Minister in-charge Public Works Department (Roads) Prestone Tynsong on Tuesday informed that the preparation of the detailed project report (DPR) for the Nongpoh-Umden-Sonapur road is in the final stage. 

Replying to a query raised by Congress MLA from Nongpoh Mayral Born Syiem, Tynsong said that the draft DPR has been submitted to the World Bank and approval and commence is being awaited. 

He said the cost of the project is estimated at Rs 83.98 crore. 

Stating that the road is already in the priority list of the government, Tynsong said once the DPR is approved in totality, the tender process for the 25 kms of road will start.
