Dr Mukul Sangma & wife tested positive for COVID-19

Meghalaya Leader of Opposition Dr. Mukul Sangma informed on Saturday that he and his wife and MLA of Mahendraganj Dikkanchi D Shira has been tested positive for novel COVID-19 pandemic.

Sangma tweeted, “I, and my wife, both of us have tested positive for COVID-19 and have self isolated ourselves. We are doing well except for mild symptoms and taking care of ourselves with necessary medications. All this will come to pass because our God is forever gracious and we trust in Him!”

He requested all his friends and relatives who have come into close contact with anyone of them in last few days to self isolate themselves and observe for any symptoms and get tested in case any of the symptoms starts showing up.

Sangma an MBBS doctor himself cautioned the people of the State to take care and try following COVID protocols and stay safe.

He also said during this pandemic everyone has gone through unprecedented hardships & difficult times and they will continue to have surprises & many more trying times but, nevertheless, this pandemic also will come to a pass!
