Dreaded NDFB cadre nabs by Meghalaya police

A cadre of the National Liberation Front of Bodoland (NLFB) was arrested in West Jaintia Hills district.

Acting on the source information, West Jaintia Hills District police on April 19 nabbed the NLFB member who is known for notorious criminal activities such as kidnapping and murder cases in the districts of East, West Jaintia Hills and Ri Bhoi, Assistant Inspector General of Police (A) GK Iagnrai said in a statement issued on Wednesday.

Incriminating evidences were recovered from his possession and at present he has been handed over to Ri Bhoi district police in connection with criminal case registered against him, he informed.
