Dry day declared in East Jaintia Hills

The Deputy Commissioner (Excise), East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat has declared the 29th March 2024 as “Dry Day” throughout the entire East Jaintia Hills District on account of “Good Friday”.

All bonded Wholesalers, IMFL retailers, Bars, Canteens and Out-stills shall remain closed in the entire area of East Jaintia Hills District.

The Deputy Commissioner (Excise) stated that any violation of the order will be viewed seriously.
