Dumping of garbage and washing activities ban in Amlarem

The Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Amlarem Civil Sub-Division has promulgated an order under Section 144 CrPC prohibiting the public from washing clothes, utensils, vehicles, bathing and dumping of garbage in the water source of Amlarem Water Supply Scheme at Jarain.

The order is necessitated in view of the notice received that the water source of Amlarem Water Supply Scheme at Jarain is being polluted by various activities such as washing clothes, vehicles etc. and such pollution can pose a serious health hazard to human life by polluting the quality of drinking water.

This Order come into force with immediate effect until further orders.
