Early disbursement of salaries in Meghalaya
The Christmas festivity just got more merrier on Tuesday with the announcement from the Meghalaya Government for an early disbursement of salaries for all its employees from 19th of this month on account of the ensuing Christmas Festival.
According to official order, the Government has sanction as a special case in relaxation of Note 1 below Rule 141 of the Meghalaya Financial Rules, 1981, for the drawal of Pay and Allowances to all Gazetted and Non-Gazetted employees of the Government of Meghalaya, including Pensioners for the month of December, 2024 to be payable from 19th December, 2024 onwards on account of the ensuing Christmas Festival, 2024.
