A 4.8 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar on January 24, 2025, at 00:53 IST.

The epicenter was at 24.68°N, 94.87°E, with a depth of 106 kilometers.

Tremors were also felt in Meghalaya and other North East states, but there have been no immediate reports of damage or injuries
