Earthquake of 4.8 magnitude hits Shillong city

An earthquake measuring a magnitude of 4.8 in the Richter Scale hits Shillong city and other parts of Meghalaya on Friday morning at 10.16 am.

The epicentre is located at Bangladesh at the depth of the earthquake 70 Km of Latitude: 24.86 N and Longitude: 91.98 E.

There has been no report of any casualty or damage.
