East Jaintia Hills: DC issues order for reopening of SP Office & Khliehriat Police Station

The Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District informs the general public that on the recommendation of the District Medical and Health Officer, the Office of the Superintendent of Police, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat and the Office of the Khliehriat Police Station can be reopened.

The order also states that the staffs working in these office should not be from those of the contacts of the positive COVID-19 cases, social distancing must be strictly followed and adhered to by all, spitting in/outside the offices is strictly prohibited, wearing of face mask by all is mandatory and washing of hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer should be followed accordingly by all.

Further, sharing of betel nut (kwai), tobacco products and eatables is strictly prohibited and shaking of hands or physical contact should be avoided by everyone.
