East Jaintia Hills police ask public for help in identifying body found on National Highway 06

The Superintendent of Police, East Jaintia Hills District has informed that on 3-11-2021 at about 11:00 PM an unknown male dead body, about 38 years of age with swarthy complexion, was found lying on NH-06 near Byndihati village under Khliehriat Police Station of East Jaintia Hills District.

The person was suspected to have been run over by an unknown vehicle. Inquest and other formalities have been observed and the body is kept in a hospital morgue for identification.
