East Jaintia Hills: SBI to reopen after green signal from Health Department

The District Magistrate, East Jaintia Hills District, informs the general public that the District Surveillance Officer, East Jaintia Hills District and the Health Department, East Jaintia Hills District have reported that all high and low risk contacts of those that have come in contact with the patient have tested negative both at the Rapid test as well as RTPCR test.

In view of the fact that all high risk contact have tested negative as such in the interest of public; the bank which has been temporarily closed can now be opened.

Therefore, the office order promulgated Under Section 144 CrPC for closure of SBI Khliehriat, Lad Rymbai, Sutnga branches issued on the 30th of June, 2020 has been withdrawn with immediate effect under the following terms and conditions.

The terms and conditions issued in the Order states that fumigation of the above SBI Branches/ Offices will be done by the SBM, East Jaintia Hills District before regular transaction can commence. Expenditure incurred for all COVID-19 related activities undertaken to the Official and Staff as well as to the offices of the above SBI Branches to be met by the SBI authority as committed by them.
