The 6th Meghalaya Games 2025 archery events, held at Khliehtyrshi Football Ground in Jowai, featured outstanding performances, with East Khasi Hills emerging as the dominant district.
The archers from East Khasi Hills showcased exceptional skill and determination, winning multiple gold medals across various events. Here’s a detailed report of the results:
In the Women Recurve Double 70 metre distance, Navyidsha Kokil Kapoor from East Khasi Hills won the gold medal with 560 points. Damandashisha Pasi from West Jaintia Hills secured the silver medal with 557 points, and Daphishisha Jamu from Ri Bhoi earned the bronze medal with 521 points.
In the Men Recurve Individual Elimination Match, Devraj Mohapatra from East Khasi Hills claimed the gold medal with 638 points. Amebalakar Wanniang from South West Khasi Hills took the silver medal with 633 points, while Hypormi Wanniang from South West Khasi Hills won the bronze medal with 632 points.
In the Compound Women Double 50 metre distance, Adorable Wanniang from East Khasi Hills claimed the gold medal with 618 points. Kate Diamond Lyngdoh from East Khasi Hills won the silver medal with 601 points, and Sneha Thapa from East Khasi Hills secured the bronze medal with 582 points.
In the Compound Men Double 50 metre distance, Ernesaiborson Lyngdoh from South Garo Hills emerged victorious with 647 points. Sumit Kumar Choudhury from East Khasi Hills took the silver medal with 641 points, while Leonaldo Lyngdoh from South West Khasi Hills won the bronze medal with 631 points.
In the Indian Round Women Team Event, the team from West Khasi Hills, led by Emisha Kharsophphoh, clinched the gold medal. The team from East Jaintia Hills secured the silver, and the team from South Garo Hills earned the bronze.

In the individual Indian Round events, Shongkhiashisha Kharpan from East Khasi Hills excelled, winning gold in both the Women’s 50 metre and 30 metre distances.
