EC invites political parties for interaction on electoral processes

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has invited suggestions from all National and State political parties by April 30, 2025, to address any unresolved issues at the level of EROs, DEOs, or CEOs.

The Commission has also proposed an interaction with Party Presidents and senior leaders to strengthen electoral processes within the legal framework.

Last week, Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar directed election officials to engage regularly with political parties and submit an action taken report by March 31. The ECI emphasized that the existing legal framework ensures free and fair elections.
