Education minister to convene meeting on Draft NEP, 2019

SHILLONG: Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui will be convening a meeting with all stakeholders to discuss on the Draft National Education Policy 2019 on Thursday.

Informing this here on Tuesday, Rymbui told reporters that the meeting will be seeking the views of the stakeholders on the draft National Education Policy 2019.

He said that this was in view that the last date for submitting the views on this regard has been fixed on June 30.

“We will seek their views to know whether there are any issues that are affecting the state and whether there is need to further improve the national education policy so that feedback can be given to the central government,” the minister said.
