    The Deputy Commissioner and Chairman, District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat, has announced that all government and private schools, colleges and educational institutions in the district will remain closed on May 30, 2024.

    This decision is in view to the continued incessant rainfall and strong winds caused by Cyclone Remal.
